The detail shown here in the frame of one of a pair of mirrors is representative of the detail present in many other features of the State Reception Room. Custom designed carpet, two matching fireplaces, and wall sections painted to look like tapestries create a unique atmosphere which is enhanced by the mirrors reflecting the chandeliers into apparent infinity.
